SecondKids Basketball is open to children in PreK4–5th grade (participants must be 4 years old by January 1, 2026).
Tadpole League (PreK4 & Kindergarten):
Our youngest players enjoy an introductory, in-house league right here at Second Baptist Church.
– Practices & games: Saturdays only
– One-hour total time commitment each Saturday
– All activities take place at Second Baptist
WHCSA League (1st–5th Grade)
Players in 1st–5th grade will represent Second Baptist in the West Houston Christian Sports Association (WHCSA).
– One practice per week at Second Baptist
– Saturday games at locations across the West Houston area
Season & Registration Details:
– Season dates: January 10 – February 28, 2026
– 1st -5th grade practices begin after Thanksgiving
– Registration closes November 1, 2025 — or sooner as teams fill
